The City of San Fernando is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed contractors to furnish and install security upgrades at the San Fernando Police Department (SFPD). These upgrades are funded by the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) 2024 Grant Program and must meet all federal procurement, construction, and equipment requirements associated with the grant. The 208 East 22nd Street Parking Lot Improvements and Public Access Improvements (Drawing Nos. 1-3514 and 1-3536) Project consists of demolition of the Red Car maintenance and storage facility and fisherman storage areas and other existing improvements including clearing and grubbing, grading, asphalt concrete paving, and striping; installation of site lighting and conduit for future cabling; security fencing and cameras; parking ticket dispensers, pay stations, and gate arms; cast-in-place concrete retaining walls; construction of a concrete masonry unit (CMU) restroom building with utilities; and other improvements. The Harbor Boulevard from SP Slip to 22nd Street Roadway Improvements (Drawing No. 1-3597) Project includes reconfiguration and expansion of a section of Harbor Boulevard from SP Slip to 22nd Street to include 2 travel lanes in each direction, a scenic pedestrian walkway, and pedestrian access. Improvements include demolition and removal Work; removal and relocation of existing utilities; construction of curb and gutter; grading new boulevard alignment; placing crushed miscellaneous base; cold milling existing pavement; paving; pavement markings; relocation of existing and installation of new signage; sidewalks; street trees and landscaping; lighting; site cleanup; and other improvements.

The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all the required labor, materials, equipment, parts, implements, supplies and permits necessary for, or appurtenant to, the construction and completion of the project indicated above in accordance with Standard Drawings and the Specifications prepared for this project.

The City of Hermosa Beach is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified individuals or firms to provide on-call environmental consulting services for the Community Development Department. Los Angeles County Public Works is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide On-Call Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing, and Inspection Services for projects in various locations throughout the County.

The City of Palmdale seeks a qualified consultant to provide professional civil and traffic engineering design services, as well as public outreach services for PN 943, 10th Street West from Rancho Vista Blvd to Avenue M-8, (Project). The Project is located along 10th Street West from Rancho Vista Blvd to Avenue M-8, a major arterial road and designated Truck Route. The Project proposes to reconstruct the roadway pavement and install ADA concrete sidewalks. The proposed scopes include design services for City of Palmdale coordination and permitting, public notification, traffic control per the WATCH Manual, drainage study, pavement deflection and structural spatial inventory of utility infrastructure at the surface, complete plans specifications, and construction costs.

The project is part of the Measure M MSP South Bay Transportation System and Mobility Improvements Program and implements a comprehensive package of First/Last Mile improvements identified in the Inglewood First/Last Mile Plan. The project focuses on enhancing pedestrian and bicycle access to the Fairview Heights, Downtown Inglewood, Westchester/Veterans, and Crenshaw Green Line station areas through improvements such as crosswalk and sidewalk upgrades, ADAcompliant curb ramps, bicycle facilities, bus shelters, trafficcalming features, landscaping, and street furniture. The project builds upon prior City planning efforts aimed at improving safe, accessible, and multimodal connections to transit and is funded exclusively through Measure M transportation funds.
