Games Multimodal Infrastructure Project - CM/GC, Los Angeles County, CA
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has established a contracting opportunity to provide the following: Games Multimodal Infrastructure Project CM/GC under an accelerated construction manager/general contractor contract, as further described in this Request for Proposal. The Games Multimodal Infrastructure Project (GMIP) is a Los Angeles Countywide, multi-component capital program intended to enhance transit connectivity, improve bus travel times and reliability, strengthen first/last mile access, and support safe and efficient mobility operations in advance of the 2028 Games. The GMIP consists of a coordinated suite of improvements located throughout Los Angeles County and spanning multiple jurisdictions. The GMIP consists of: (i) the Reconnecting Communities and Neighborhoods ("RCN") scope, which includes mobility hubs, first/last mile improvements, and bus corridor enhancements; (ii) key station improvements; (iii) additional mobility hub locations beyond those included in the RCN scope; and (iv) opportunity charging infrastructure and related supporting works. Collectively, these components are intended to improve multimodal integration, enhance pedestrian and bicycle access, implement bus priority treatments, and support zero-emission bus operations, while maintaining consistency with applicable Board actions, funding requirements, and environmental documentation.
