Description

The work consists of rehabilitating the roadway by removing and reconstructing the asphalt concrete pavement within the existing right of way, the removal and reconstruction of ADA access ramps, curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway approaches, cross gutters, spandrels, parkway drain, curb drain, local depression, adjustment of utility structures and pull-boxes, replacement of traffic detection devices, striping, signage, pavement markings, and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the proposed improvements in accordance with the Projects Plans and Specifications. This rehabilitation will re-establish the pavement structure, restore the surface integrity, improve driving conditions and improve pedestrian safety on the sidewalks. Project location: Harbor Boulevard from Convention Way to Chapman Avenue. Placentia Avenue from State College Boulevard to 91 Freeway Bridge. Miraloma Avenue from Miller Street to Van Buren Street, Jefferson Street from Miraloma Avenue to Tustin Avenue, Coronado Street from Jefferson Street to Van Buren Street, Van Buren Street from Miraloma Avenue to La Palma Avenue. Work areas are limited to those areas identified on the temporary work easement and areas outlined within the various permits supplied for the project.
