Panel of Electrical Utility Maintenance, Urgent Repairs and Construction Work at Various City Locations on an As-Needed Basis, Riverside, CA

The Energy Delivery Division of the City of Riverside Public Utilities Department (RPU) has a need for qualified Contractors who are readily available to perform Specific Construction Project Work to include: new construction, installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and/or extension of electric transmission, distribution, substation, controls, and communications facilities on an as-needed basis. Contractors on this Panel will subsequently be requested to bid on Specific Construction Project Work, on an as-needed basis, at various locations throughout the City, without the requirement of processing to approve separate supplemental agreements for each Project. Each Specific Project award for Specific Construction Project Work under the Master Agreement which shall not exceed $950,000.00 dollar amount approved for the Master Agreement. RPU requests qualified Contractors to submit their qualifications and Proposals to do the type of Specific Construction Project Work described in Section 1.4 Scope of Services of this RFQual and Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, including, but not limited to performing all labor, providing necessary equipment, and furnishing materials (when specified) to do the work. To be eligible to bid on Specific Construction Project Work, Panel Contractors shall execute a Master Agreement that includes bonding, insurance, and all other legal requirements for doing Work defined in this RFQual for the City of Riverside. Contractors will be requested to submit bids for Specific Project Work on an as needed basis. Bids awarded by RPU for Specific Projects will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder from the Panel. Work requested on an emergency basis may require mobilizing within days or hours of receipt of RPUs Notice to Proceed. Additionally, emergencies may arise for which the City may need to hire pre-approved Panel members to make urgent repairs. The selected Company shall provide the services required in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein.
