Description

Notice is hereby given that the City of Escondido, a California municipal corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering design services for the Sierra Linda Drive Storm Drain Repair Project. Engineering services shall include, but not be limited to; surveying, environmental evaluation, the design of a proposed repair, preparation of cost and schedule estimates, permitting, support during construction, and preparation of final as-built plans and specifications. Sierra Linda Drive is a residential street located within the City of Escondido, in the southeast portion of the City. Running approximately perpendicular to the roadway and extending southwesterly away from the road is a City owned storm drain facility, located within a City easement. This storm drain collects surface runoff and carries it through an energy dissipator box. The water is then carried through a corrugated metal pipe (CMP) downstream where it daylights into a canyon. Figure A provides a site map showing the general location of the Citys facility. The closest intersection, located to the southeast, is the intersection of Sierra Linda Drive and Vista Bonita Lane.
