Description

The general scope of work is to remove and replace along 24th St from National City Blvd to N Ave, 2,223 LF of existing 6 VCP sewer with 8 SDR35 PVC, 2,210 LF of existing 8 VCP sewer with 10 SDR35 PVC, and 60 LF of existing 10 VCP with 12 SDR35 PVC. The scope of work includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of existing 48 and 60 standard manholes and 60 drop manholes, 6, 8, and 10 sewer main and existing lateral connections from the main to the end of the right-of-way and installing backwater valves outside the right-of-way where required. PCC improvements include but are not limited to pedestrian curb ramps, cross gutter, curb and gutter and sidewalk. Asphalt improvements include 2 grind and overlay and digouts. Conduits, pull boxes, and conduit stub outs for fiber optic and future traffic signal shall be installed along E 24th St from F Ave to Highland Ave. This is a general description of the work to be done by the Contractor and is not intended to be the official scope of work which is described in the Contract Documents. The City shall pay all permit fees to be paid to Sweetwater Authority. All other fees shall be paid by the Contractor. The Contractor shall coordinate all aspects of the project and pull all permits.
