Description

The Emergency Interconnection No.1 at Avenida La Valencia / PS-17 Project (Project) is located on Avenida La Valencia between Pomerado Road and Camino del Valle, where the Poway Horse Trail crosses Avenida La Valencia, within the City of Poway (92064). The border between the City of San Diego and the City of Poway runs through the Project site. The work involves a new emergency interconnection facility between the City of San Diego and the City of Poway including but not limited to piping to connect the two water systems, a flow meter in a buried vault within Avenida La Valencia, an above ground packaged pump station on the north side of Avenida La Valencia, all associated appurtenances, pavement and civil site restoration, dedicated electrical service and meter, instrumentation improvements, coordination with the City of San Diego & City of Poway for valve closures and shutdowns, and all incidental work as required by the construction drawings & specifications for a complete and operable project.
