Description

The work to be done generally includes: Construct a decomposed granite (DG) path along the south parkway of La Costa Ave from Vulcan Ave to the Interstate 5 Southbound On-ramp. Requires the removal of existing encroaching private improvements and landscaping within the right-of-way (ROW) as necessary. Construct new ADA curb ramps and retaining wall, replace driveways, adjust and relocate utilities, and install a modular wetlands BMP. Rebuild the street intersection between La Costa Ct to La Costa Ave to allow for an ADA compliant street crossing. Perform re-striping within the south side of La Costa Ave to move the existing bike lane south to replace the existing pedestrian path within the street pavement adjacent to the existing AC berm and convert the old bike lane into a bike lane buffer.
