Description
The Greater Bridgeport Community Mental Health Center solicits bids for the full modernization of three passenger elevators including upgrade & refurbishment of existing car rails and counterweights, and replacement of controls, motor drives, cars and doors. Associated electrical and mechanical system upgrades for elevators and machine room. Repainting of portions of elevator lobby affected by elevator work. Repainting of entire elevator machine room. The elevator work will be performed in numerical sequence starting with Passenger Elevator 1 (PE-1), unless one of the elevators is not in service at start of project. In that case, the inactive elevator will take precedence. The Work Includes but is not limited to the following: 1 Modernization of 3 existing passenger elevators and related machinery 2 Masonry 3 Painting 4 Plumbing, HVAC, and Controls 5 Electrical and Fire Alarm Systems.
