Description
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. The Veterans Memorial Clubhouse is a two story, Tudor style structure built in the early 1930s used by the Town of East Hartford as a rental facility for meetings, weddings, and other public functions. The interior and exterior renovation of the approximately 11,400 square foot building will include: a. Demolition where required and shown in the drawings. b. The removal of existing windows and exterior doors and installation of new windows and exterior doors. c. Reconfiguration and expansion of the existing kitchen. d. General construction work including: full renovation of interiors and finishes, new painting, floors, ceilings, doors and hardware, signage, window treatments. Full renovation of exteriors including new siding throughout. e. The removal and replacement of the existing car port. f. HVAC work including installation of new equipment, distribution, controls, and balancing. g. Electrical work including installation of new equipment and lighting fixtures, upgrades to existing equipment and technology infrastructure. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements.
