Description
The Town of Simsbury solicits bids for HVAC RTU replacement, 2026: materials, equipment necessary for the removal and replacement in kind including electrical connections, controls integration, and all incidental work required for a complete and operational system of 2 roof top HVAC units (RTU) and one roof top MAU with a Bid alternate of replacement of a ground level MAU at the WPCF (Water Pollution Control Facility) location. The facility is serviced by several rooftop heating ventilation and air conditioning units (RTHVACs) that distribute conditioned air to Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes throughout the facility. Office space is equipped with hydronic heating, which serves both as reheat and primary heat for individual zones. The buildings HVAC control system is a BACnet Metasys system by Johnson Controls utilizing Facility Explorer.
