Alachua County Board of County Commissioners (hereinafter, the County or Alachua County) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or entities (hereinafter, referred to as "Artist) for the provision of Mosaic Installation for Pleasant Street in Gainesville an outdoor mosaic installation for the State Attorneys Office building to celebrate the transition between Downtown and the Historic Pleasant Street Neighborhood. This project is funded by the Gainesville Community Reinvestment Area.

The County is seeking Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services to support capital construction, renovation, and repair projects for County facilities on an as-needed basis. Projects assigned under this contract will typically involve building systems, facility renovations, repairs, or improvements with construction values less than $4,000,000. Professional Architectural and Engineering Services are necessary to plan, design, permit, bid, and administer construction projects for County facilities. The selected The Professional will serve as the Countys professional architectural and engineering representative and will provide technical consultation, design services, and construction administration services as authorized through individual task assignments, on an as-needed basis.

To support these objectives, the County is seeking qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to provide annual continuing professional civil engineering services throughout County-owned facilities, on an as-needed basis. Under the resulting contract, the awarded Proposer(s) will furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform the services described in the Scope of Services.

The County is seeking Continuing Professional Mechanical, Engineering, Plumbing and Life Safety Engineering Services on an as-needed basis. These services primarily support building systems within existing or new facilities, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and related infrastructure with estimated construction costs less than $4,000,000 per project.

Owner invites Bidders to electronically submit sealed Bids for Elevated Storage Tank, which includes installation of a 500,000-gallon pedosphere elevated storage tank with a tank mixing system and approximately 2,815 linear feet of water main and appurtenances. Also includes installation of altitude valves at 2 existing water storage tanks; and all materials and equipment, construction, and services inherent to the Work.

The selected design-build firm shall provide all labor, professional services, materials, equipment, supervision, management, construction, testing, documentation, and related services necessary to deliver the project.

Restoration of the Historic Newberry Power Plant Phase I (Construction). Restoration of the Historic Newberry Power Plant Phase 1 in accordance with the specifications and the accompanying drawings. This project is sponsored in part by the Department of State, Division of Historical Resources and the State of Florida. All project work shall be in compliance with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards and Guidelines available online www.nps.gov/tps/standards.htm.

The scope of work is expected to include selective demolition; repair and replacement of finishes; upgrades to fixtures, appliances, and casework; and targeted improvements to building systems as required. Contractors should anticipate working within an occupied facility and must plan for proper sequencing, dust control, noise mitigation, temporary protections, and coordination with County staff and on site management. The Countys objective is to deliver durable, code compliant, and maintainable residential units rather than short term cosmetic improvements. Emphasis will be placed on quality of workmanship, constructability, and coordination across trades to minimize rework and operational disruption. Contractors with demonstrated experience in multi unit residential renovations, phased construction, and work within occupied facilities are strongly encouraged to respond.
