Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for Environmental Services Infrastructure, Deerfield Beach, FL

Scope of Services:The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the Environmental Services Department's infrastructure program, including water treatment facilities, wellfields, pump stations, process systems, electrical systems, and related infrastructure, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and scope of services in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). CCNA Solicitation: Pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 287.055 (Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act), and Florida Statutes, Section 255.103 (Construction Manager at Risk), price will not be considered in the evaluation and ranking of firms. Following final ranking, fees, Guaranteed Maximum Prices (GMPs), and guaranteed completion dates will be negotiated with the top-ranked firm in the City's best interest. Conflict of Interest: Proposers and their subconsultants must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest, including any financial, business, or familial relationship with the City, the Engineer of Record, or other parties involved in projects under this program. The City reserves the right to review all potential conflicts on a case-by-case basis and to make determinations in its sole discretion. Licensing Requirements: The Vendor must possess Florida license or current certificate of competency issued by Broward County Examining Board having jurisdiction over licensing of Contractors in the type of work involved in this contract. Refer to Qualification of Bidders for additional information. The City of Deerfield Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax. The City of Deerfield Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Responses, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.
