Description

The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to complete a cul-de-sac modification in the community of Pasadena Lakes on NW 18th street, including all labor, materials, equipment, permitting, and coordination necessary to complete the work in accordance with the City of Pembroke Pines details provided in the Cul-de-sac median plan sheets C1 and C2, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. Below is a general list of the services required for the construction; it is not intended to be complete. Please refer to Attachment A - "Cul-de-sac Median Plan" Sheet C-1 and Detail Sheet C-2 for full details. The project consists of modifications to the existing cul-de-sac on NW 18th Street within the Pasadena Lakes community, including roadway, curb, landscaping, lighting, and median improvements. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, mobilization, demobilization, permits, maintenance of traffic (MOT), stormwater pollution prevention and erosion control measures, testing, utility coordination, and all incidentals necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to: Mobilization and demobilization. Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and all associated traffic control required for work within the public right-of-way. Stormwater Pollution Prevention (SWPP) and erosion control measures. Sawcutting and removal of existing pavement within the project limits. Removal and disposal of existing trees, shrubs, soil materials, and other features as necessary to complete the work. Removal and replacement of unsuitable soils, excavation, grading, and placement of suitable fill material. Relocation of the existing light pole and associated appurtenances. Utility coordination and adjustment of affected utility appurtenances, as necessary. Construction of new pavement in accordance with the plans and City details. Construction of Type RA concrete curb and concrete header curb in accordance with City standards. Installation of concrete brick pavers and associated base materials in accordance with City details. Compaction and materials testing as required by the plans and specifications. Restoration of all disturbed areas resulting from construction activities. Any incidental work required to provide a complete and finished cul-de-sac median improvement project in accordance with the plans and specifications.
