Description
The purpose of this solicitation for Engineering Services for the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR)-funded Normandy Village Utility Infrastructure Repair Project (this "Solicitation") is to evaluate and select a vendor to provide Engineering and Construction Inspection Services to evaluate and upgrade the Normandy Village Utility sanitary sewer system. The proposed project involves replacement and rehabilitation of existing gravity sewer mains, force mains, manholes, and the installation a new force main to connect to JEAs collection system, rehabilitation of up to four existing pump stations, and one new pump station to allow for the redirection of all wastewater flows to JEAs existing wastewater treatment facility as described in this Solicitation (the "Work") and to determine the best method for JEA to procure the Work with regards to pricing, quality, design, and workmanship. JEA is in the process of soliciting a separate grant administrator to assist JEA with the grant. The selected design firm will be required to coordinate CDBG requirements with the selected grant administrator.
