Removal and legal disposal of all nuisance conditions such as trash, debris, rubbish, items holding water or no longer being used for its intended purpose. Removal and legal disposal of all overgrowth. clearing along all fence rows and/or property lines. This includes all underbrush, scrub oaks, overgrowth around all trees, and perimeters of any structures. Remove and dispose of all vines on gates. Grounds to be left clean of any clippings, cuttings, sticks, or other debris, this includes walkways, sidewalks, and roadway. Any ruts, holes, or uneven areas caused by contractors' equipment or due to cutting and cleaning should be left smooth and even so property can be easily maintained in the future. Grade out lot after demolition.
The Scope of Services shall consist of the provision of comprehensive architectural support relating to building systems and shall include, but not be limited to, the full range of professional services customarily associated with the planning, programming, design, and construction of facilities. Such services are to be performed in a manner that ensures alignment with, and advancement of, the County’s stated mission, objectives, and operational requirements. All work shall be carried out in strict compliance with applicable laws, codes, regulations, and professional standards governing architectural practice within the State of Florida. The Government Street, I Street and Barrancas Avenue intersection improvement project is part of the City of Pensacolas plan to improve pedestrian safety, roadway safety, and traffic signal resiliency in the city. These improvements include ADA ramps, improved pedestrian sidewalks, pedestrian signals, marked crosswalks, traffic signal mast arms, street lights, and other related work as shown in plans designed by Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. and street light photometrics and requirements provided by the city. The proposed improvements shall meet City and FDOT standards and specifications.
Wayside Park East at 17th Avenue and Bayfront Parkway has fallen into disrepair due to its age, and this was made far worse by hurricane damage. The parks boat ramps, and dock were damaged during Hurricane Sally, the parking lot pavement is in poor condition and lacks current accessibility features, and the boardwalk north of the railroad track needs replacement. Additionally, the northbound approach to Graffiti Bridge is notorious for generating truck strikes on the low bridge. This project works in conjunction with FDOT to install a state-of-the-art advanced warning system alerting truck drivers of the low bridge hazard well before the bridge. Overall, road and park safety and accessibility are greatly improved by the successful completion of this project
Replace the current set of stairs or ramp as per the Escambia County Building Code. The ADA also provides details on ramp landings, lengths, slope, handrails and the ramp should terminate on a concrete pad.
Replace the tub with a paneled wall shower unit as per the Escambia County Code. Repair surrounding areas and replace the tub faucet with a new shower valve set. Install all new turn brass shutoff valves on fixtures, new braided supply lines, and replace any old piping and fittings associated with this repair.
)Replace the entire septic system as per the Florida Department of Environmental Protection regulations. Repair the by following the standard permit specifications,. All damage to the yard, created by men and equipment is to be restored and filled to the original grade with topsoil. These graded areas are to be uniform and in a smooth condition. Apply grass seed and straw for stabilization. If it is necessary to remove any part of the fence or landscaping, it is also to be restored to its original condition prior to the beginning of said repairs. Tie-in all drains to the new system and extend soil pipe to above the roof line, then attach to dwelling as required. The contractor is to return one time after the completion of said work and during the warranty period to repair any areas that have settled. If additional repairs are necessary, re-grade and re-seed.
Remove existing roof covering down to the decking and replace any deteriorated or damaged decking with like, kind, and quality of existing materials. Repair or replace any damaged roof framing to include rafter tails, rafters, and barge rafters. Refasten and certify decking attachment. Install a peel and stick underlayment water barrier. Replace the existing drip edge with a new metal drip edge. Install new slant-back vents, replace gas vent caps and all flashing as required. Replace all boots with new lead, EPDM, and or metal boots. Install 30-year architectural (CertainTeed Landmark or equivalent) roof shingle as per manufacturers specifications and/or a self-adhering modified bitumen roof system to any low sloped areas as per the Escambia County Building Code. Then install new shingle over the ridge vents. Then install new shingle over the ridge vents. Budget 320 square feet for damaged decking replacement. If they are missing or outdated install hurricane clips on every rafter or truss, with a minimum of 6 pictures illustrating said strapping. Trim any trees over hanging roof to clear roof by approximately 10 and remove all debris from site. Repair or replace any damaged fascia and soffit with like material and match the finish as close as possible. Replace the existing gutters with new 6 seamless gutters only where gutters are currently installed. This is to include 4 downspouts, splash blocks, and diverters as needed. Also, Replace the shower faucet with a new shower valve set.
