Description

The City of Miami Beach is seeking applications from qualified flooring contractors who wish to participate in a pre-qualification pool that will be used to solicit flooring materials, related supplies, and services on an “as needed” basis as specified herein. Interested contractors may submit an application indicating their intent to become prequalified. All contractors which meet or exceed the criteria established in this solicitation shall be placed on a pre-qualification list that may be accessed by various City departments to obtain price quotations for solutions that include, but are not limited to: a. Indoor/outdoor, resilient, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, wood, hardwood, linoleum, rubber, vinyl, broadloom, carpet tile, epoxy, and any other flooring hybrid, floor mats, and rugs; b. Services related to the removal, installation, maintenance, and cleaning of flooring materials. The City intends to prequalify vendors as categorized below: Sales and delivery of flooring and related supplies; or Sales, delivery, and installation of flooring and related supplies; or Installation of flooring and related supplies.
