Description
The purpose of this Solicitation is to establish a contract for Pest Control Services (Citywide), from a source(s), fully compliant with the terms, conditions, and stipulations of the Solicitation. Successful Bidder(s) is required to provide all personnel, supervision, supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to perform pest and/or termite control services as described in these specifications throughout the term of the Contract. All personnel that apply pesticides on any City of Miami (City) property must be certified pesticide applicators pursuant to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Successful Bidder(s) must have and will continue to receive annual training on the stormwater implications of pesticide, herbicide, and fertilizer application. Such annual training shall be at the Successful Bidder(s)s sole expense and considered incidental to the work. All pesticides shall be applied in strict accordance with label directions and comply with all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) chemical standards and applied in accordance with the product label in regard to dosage for the expected outcome to eliminate the identified insects, pests and other effects of insect infestation.
