Description

Prospective bidder shall examine the site of the work carefully and be satisfied as to all observable conditions. Bidder shall be responsible for measuring and calculating the amount of work. Bid price is to include the removal and proper disposal of all work- related debris. This is an abbreviated scope of work and must be further enriched by the bid permit set included in the solicitation. Contractor must obtain and submit all permits before performing any work. The Elections Headquarters Reconfiguration project will renovate and update the existing restrooms. The renovated scope includes all four restrooms located on the first and second floors of the Elections Headquarters. Each restroom will receive a built in janitorial storage space, and all existing wall tiles will remain. Sinks, faucets, toilet partitions, mirrors, countertops, and baseboards will be replaced. Lighting will be upgraded with new 24" x 24" LED fixtures matching those currently used in the facility. As specified in the plans, the existing wall tile will remain, and the new floor tile will be installed over the existing tile, along with the corresponding tile baseboard. Standard trash baskets will be used, and existing toilet paper holders will remain or be matched as needed. The renovation will maintain ADA compliance and ensure minimal disruption to adjacent areas during construction. The project dry-run submittal process number with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ): City of Doral is BDCC-2604-4496. The plans have also been submitted to Miami-Dade County FIRE - DERM under Process# M2026012876. The contractor shall be responsible for verifying and obtaining all required permits and inspections for the project. At the close of the project, Contractor shall submit all documentation, warranty, equipment, specifications, etc. to the County. The Project is located at 2700 NW 87 AVENUE, DORAL, FL 33172. The Base Bid Construction Estimate is $320,655.20. This Estimate includes $12,332.89 estimated permit fees, survey and testing. Bidders Price Quotation shall consist of the Base Bid amount (Lump Sum), inclusive of all permit fees and excluding Contingency. NOTE: There are no Dedicated Allowances on this Project. A 10% Contingency will be added to the successful bidders Base Bid for Project Award, the sum of which will be the Total Contract Award Amount.
