Description
Site Hours of Operation: Monday Sunday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Work Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Project Description The project consists of furnishing and installing all architectural, structural, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work, including but not limited to: Installation of a new single ply Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing system to replace the existing roofing on the main roof and overhangs. All metal flashing and downspouts shall be replaced. Installation of a new AC split system to replace the existing through wall equipment. Installation of new hurricane rated exterior doors and windows to replace existing units, including structural reinforcement of the service window overhang. Remodeling of the control room, construction of a new ADA compliant bathroom, and construction of a new employee break room. Work includes, but is not limited to: o new interior and exterior lighting o new acoustical ceiling tile and gypsum wallboard ceilings o new insulation at all building envelope areas o new partitions and soffits as indicated o new flooring over concrete topping; new millwork o installation of all indicated equipment o complete interior and exterior patching and painting o All associated electrical systems Provide a temporary office trailer with restroom facilities for employees. Permitting fees and testing. Temporary relocation and installation of all scale control systems within the trailer to maintain facility operations during the construction process. Asbestos abatement (APEX survey attached) Additional Information The Contractor shall coordinate with the Facility Supervisor and the Engineer of Record (EOR) to phase the work in a manner that minimizes impact to facility operations, department's equipment, and circulation of vehicles. In accordance with the Countys Green Procurement Preferences, the appliances purchased through this solicitation shall be Energy Star certified. When Energy STAR labels are not available, products shall be Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) designated energyefficient products or the most energy efficient product available. Hours of operations will remain unaffected during construction.
