Description

The City of Miami Beach (City) Police Department is seeking quotes, through this Invitation to Quote (ITQ) from qualified consultants to evaluate, design, and, where appropriate, valueengineer the Citys aging microwave backhaul network. The selected consultant will develop design specifications for a modernized system and may also be called upon to assist the City in negotiating with the contractor selected to construct or rehabilitate the network pursuant to a separate formal procurement process. Rehabilitation efforts may include incorporating the consultants valueengineering recommendations when existing components can reliably support longterm performance. Additional details are provided in Section 5 of the ITQ.
