**New Bid Date: Economy Parking Lot Modifications, Lakeland, FL

3.1. Scope of Work

The project consists of modifications to the existing Economy Parking Lot to support the implementation of a Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS).

Improvements shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

Entrance and Exit Modifications

• Reconfiguration of existing entrance and exit lanes to accommodate one (1) entry lane and one (1) exit lane for controlled access

PARCS Infrastructure (Owner-Furnished Equipment Support)

• Installation of all infrastructure required to support entry and exit kiosks, gates, and associated equipment
• Construction of concrete pads, foundations, and mounting surfaces for equipment and canopies
• Coordination with The Car Park and the Airport for equipment layout, specifications, and installation requirements
• Kiosks and PARCS equipment shall be furnished separately by the Owner and installed in coordination with The Car Park

Canopies

• Installation of canopy structures over entry and exit lanes to protect ticketing and payment equipment

Electrical Systems

• Installation of power service, conduit, wiring, and connections to support PARCS equipment

Data and Communications

• Installation of communication infrastructure (fiber, ethernet) required for system operation
• Coordination with City of Lakeland Telecom, Airport, and The Car Park for system integration

Site and Civil Improvements

• Pavement modifications, striping, and signage for traffic control and wayfinding
• Installation of vehicle detection systems (loops or equivalent)
• Installation or modification of fencing and access control elements as required
• Provide and install parking stops (wheel stops) as required for proper vehicle control and space delineation

Lighting and Safety

• Installation or modification of site lighting to support safe vehicle and pedestrian circulation

Maintenance of Operations

• Maintain continuous access to the Economy Parking Lot during construction
• Provide traffic control and phasing plan

The Design-Builder shall be responsible for delivering a complete and fully operational system, including all components necessary for proper functionality, whether or not explicitly listed herein.
