The School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, intends to enter into an agreement for a period of one (1) year for the ongoing replacement of HVAC filters and frames (as required) to include all service and materials as specified herein for all facilities owned and/or operated by the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida. The SBSC desires to move toward a cleaner, healthier environment (green initiative). Filter specifications herein indicate the minimum requirements for disposable or recycled filter material.

The School Board of Sarasota County, Florida intends to establish firm prices for a period of one year for irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair services regularly found in the irrigation field in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety Hazards Act), local and state regulations for irrigation services.

The City of Sarasota is soliciting bids for analytical laboratory services. Services include compliance testing of industrial wastewater, drinking water, reagent water, ground water, municipal wastewater, treated effluent discharged to surface waters, and reclaimed water. All analysis must be done in accordance with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Florida Department of Health (FDOH), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.

This project will consist of the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Taxiway Alpha and Alpha Connectors. The project will also construct two holding aprons for ADG 1 aircraft.

Sarasota County is requesting quotes from bidders to provide water rescue equipment and uniform goods.

Sarasota County is requesting quotes from bidders to provide a one-time outdoor public trash receptacle sanitation service for W Dearborn Street in the Main Street Overlay District. The service area (the Corridor) is represented by the length of W Dearborn Street delineated by the yellow dots marked on Attachment B Main Street Overlay District Map, attached hereto and incorporated herein. Each yellow dot on the map represents an individual trash container to be serviced as described below. There are currently thirty-five trash containers in total. Trash containers are located from the N Indiana Ave/W Dearborn Street intersection to the Harbor Lane /W Dearborn Street intersection i. Contractor shall clean and sanitize all trash containers, interior and exterior, including lids. a. Containers shall be sprayed and wet-wiped with a solution of water and b. disinfectant as needed (e.g. spillage on the top, sides or base). c. Liquid leaking from any plastic bag shall be immediately cleaned. d. Gum, stickers, and other materials shall be removed. e. Limited use of portable pressure washing equipment may be necessary f. to clear, clean, and sanitize trash containers.

The County intends to establish a Professional Services Library of qualified engineering firms to provide engineering services for fixed-span bridge rehabilitation, repair, and inspection.

It is the intent of this bid to establish a contract for a period of one (1) year from date of award during which time the successful bidder shall guarantee firm prices for the fabrication, shop time, and materials for items as specified in the bid. The specifications establish the minimum requirements for providing and/or installing signage as described herein, to be used district wide by the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida.

The project is located on the southwest coast of Florida within Sarasota County and located on Lido Key in the City of Sarasota between New Pass and Big Sarasota Pass. The dune restoration project encompasses approximately 1.16 miles of dune restoration along the southern portion of Lido Key. These specifications include requirements for the furnishing of labor, materials, equipment, and performing all operations in connection with the dune restoration, dune vegetation planting, beach accesses and enhancements, signage, and post and rope installation as indicated on the Construction Drawings and specifications herein.

This solicitation is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a contractor to provide intersection improvements to the intersection of Winchester Blvd. and South River Road in Sarasota County, Florida. The County anticipates awarding a Construction Contract to run the duration of the project.
