The successful contractor will construct ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant restrooms and showers at the Wakulla Community Center. These critical improvements address post disaster needs that are conducted at the center, as it serves as a distribution center and as a shelter to evacuees once the schools have reopened and continued shelter services are necessary.

Wakulla County (the County) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified professional engineering firms (the Consultant) to provide surveying, flood risk reduction analysis, engineering, design, plans preparation, public notices, permitting coordination, and bid proposal preparation services for Phase 1 for RFQ 2026-09 Professional Services For Wakulla Gardens Stormwater Infrastructure . The purpose of this phase is to evaluate and develop measures to reduce flood risk within the Wakulla Gardens subdivision. No construction activities are included in Phase 1. Phase 2 of the project, which is not included in this RFQ, is anticipated to include the acquisition of approximately sixteen (16) parcels and the construction of six (6) stormwater retention basins designed to provide protection against the 10-year storm event.
