The chosen contractor must be capable of providing personnel, supervision, equipment, supplies, certifications, transportation, waste disposal, and other resources necessary for asbestos abatement in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. The Contractor shall remove approximately 475 square feet of asbestos containing black mastic located under non-asbestos floor tile. The asbestos containing materials must be removed from the base concrete floor of Room G26 without causing noticeable damage. All flooring materials within the scope of work must be removed from the Boise VA Medical Center campus and disposed of in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
