Description
This project seeks to control cattail (Typha spp.) and common reed (Phragmites australis) across approximately 189 acres - eight (8) project areas within eight (8) forest preserves - held by the Forest Preserve District of Kane County. The goal of this project is a one-season kill of 95% for target species which shall be accomplished through herbicide applications during July 2026 through September 2026
