The proposed project involves providing a safe route to school along Fair Street and Morningside Drive in the City of Marion. The work will include construction of new sidewalks, crosswalks, ADA ramps and associated improvement necessary to complete the new sidewalk along Fair Street from IL Rte. 13 to Morningside Drive and along Morningside Drive to near Reveille Road.

The project involves the reworking of the aggregate shoulder and slope embankment due to erosion issues causing slope failure. Stone dumped rip-rap, A3 will be utilized to rebuild the slope on the east side of the causeway over Crab Orchard Lake. Location: This improvement consists of slope stabilization along IL 148,1.54 miles S of Old IL 13. The improvement is approximately 0.71 miles long and crosses Crab Orchard Lake in Williamson County.

Horner & Shifrin, Inc., on behalf of the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge and Williamson County, is pleased to invite qualified contractors to submit bids for the Crab Orchard Greenway Section 3 project. Approximately 1.894 miles of new 10 wide concrete multi-use trail will be constructed, including tree removal, earthwork, grading and drainage items.

General services does not require the contractor to physically enter the wet well, however the contractor shall be responsible for pumping out all liquid, oil, fuel, solids, grease, sand and miscellaneous debris from within the wet well, in addition to the removal of waste build up on the wet well walls.
