HVAC Systems Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Installation Services, Montgomery Co., MD

The Division of Facilities Management (DFM), Department of General Services (DGS), oversees the operation of over 400 County-leased and County-owned facilities. The contractor shall have the experience and knowledge to provide for the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems at government facilities such as offices, libraries and recreation centers and for high security facilities such as detention centers, holding cells and related law enforcement facilities. The County is seeking a qualified entity for the provision of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems preventive maintenance, repair and installation services at County (owned and leased) facilities under a combination "Firm Fixed Price" and "Time and Materials" contract. Quarterly maintenance for the facilities indicated Section VI of this IFB will be implemented on a Firm Fixed Price basis. All other services including emergency repairs, troubleshooting, out-of-cycle maintenance, and on-call services will be performed on a Time and Materials basis.

The Montgomery County, Maryland, Department of General Services, Division of Building Design and Construction intends to use this solicitation to select qualified Consultants to provide Inspection & Material Testing (IMT) Services for new construction or renovation of various County facilities such as but not limited to recreation centers, day care center, libraries, office buildings, fire stations, public safety, police stations, pools, warehouses, vehicle maintenance, etc.: Up to three (3) qualified contractors for Inspection & Material Testing Services may be selected for various County Facility projects.
