Description
The City of New Bedford (Owner) Purchasing Department, in conjunction with the Department of Public Infrastructure, is soliciting sealed bids for the Phase 1 Sewer Collection System Rehabilitation. The work within this project consists of the rehabilitation of 6- to 24-inch diameter gravity sewers including, but not limited to, installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners; joint testing and sealing of lateral sewer connections along CIPP-lined sewers; open-cut point repairs along 6- to 24-inch diameter gravity sewer mains; installation of new drain pipe; replacement of sewer service connections; installation of new access manholes; temporary and permanent paving; and maintenance of existing flows (bypass pumping). In addition, this project includes existing manhole rehabilitation, such as cleaning and monolithic lining; installation of flexible chimney seals; sealing active leaks; repairing or rebuilding existing brick corbel; raising existing manholes to grade; replacing manhole frames and covers; and all other related and incidental work required and as specified for successful completion of the project. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements.
