Description
The scope of work includes construction of approximately 2,770 linear feet of water main in Capen Street from Capen Path (Medford/Somerville City Limit) to Winthrop Street, including 6- inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch ductile iron pipes, valves, fittings, hydrants, water services, temporary water piping, and removal and disposal of existing water mains, hydrants, valves and appurtenances. Surface construction shall include permanent paving over trench limits and concrete sidewalk replacement at water services. The scope of work also includes construction zone safety, traffic management, and coordination of work.
