Description
The Town of Winthrop, MA solicits price quotations for a minimum of a 3-person hourly crew rate for tree services. The crew must be comprised of at least three professional tree technicians and capable of providing tree pruning work, full tree removal, and stump grinding services as needed and directed by the Director of Public Works. The awarded contractor will be expected to mobilize and perform the required tasks within one week of notification from the Director of Public Works. The awarded contractor will also be expected to perform snowstorm coverage as needed by the Town. Storm coverage will consist of the minimum 3-person crew equipped with heavy duty pick-up trucks with 8-foot plows being mobilized in town awaiting directions from the Director of Public Works. Storm coverage will be prescheduled with the contractor at least 24 hours in advance and will guarantee a minimum of 4-hour coverage pay to the contractor. The Town will supply all necessary police details for the requested tree work.
