The Work to be done under this contract consists of providing professionals, labor, materials, and equipment to perform condition assessment, construct, and complete emergency structural repair work within a specified construction schedule. Emergency structural repair work is defined as work that is of an emergency nature and requires immediate attention and corrective action, as determined by the MBTA.

The project includes proposed improvements to improve traffic operations for vehicles entering the approach to Bell Circle from Beach Street. Specific design elements for the early action design include: - Exclusive right turn lane from Beach Street to Route 1A eastbound - Median and circle island modifications in the southwest quadrant - Pavement markings and traffic signage in the southwest quadrant - Sidewalk, driveway, and pedestrian ramp reconstruction in the southwest quadrant - Pavement resurfacing in the southwest quadrant. All bidders shall be determined to be an eligible bidder for the category of work Highway - Construction for the project with an estimated value of $345,086.00 by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Highway Division Prequalification Office.

Curley Community Center plumbing upgrades to include demolition of outdoor shower piping and the installation of new interceptors, backflow preventers and drainage systems, backwater valve and expansion joints. Replace epoxy flooring and upgrade mixing valves and floor drains as further outlined in the specifications.

The Winthrop Public Library, 2 Metcalf Square, is looking to install four (4) wall mounted units with condensers. One unit on the library first floor, one unit on the library second floor, and two units on the museum second floor. All references to proprietary brands shall be or equal as approved by the Town.
