Description
Vehicular and pedestrian traffic (on sidewalks) must not be impeded. f) Remove all asbestos per Federal and State guidelines and obtain necessary asbestos clearances. The complete removal of all walls, roofing, posts, masonry and any other above grade structures are to be completely removed from the demolition site, unless specifically permitted otherwise in writing as part of the demolition permit. All signage & support, and wiring is to be completely removed. i) CONCRETE: i) Contractor is to remove all at-grade or below grade concrete including: (1) Floors (2) Footings (3) Foundations (4) Concrete work ii) Contractor IS NOT to install new concrete curb and gutter iii) Contractor is responsible for all damages to existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, etc. (1) Remove and replace sidewalk that may be damaged during construction. Sidewalk shall have a minimum depth of 4. (2) Use 3500 PSI concrete mix for concrete pavement, curb & gutter and sidewalk. j) SEWER: Cap sewer opening at property line. k) Remove all small trees (less than 12 inch diameter trunk) and bushes from property l) Removal and disposal of demolished and/or disassembled materials. This includes all debris on the site even though it is not part of the structures or their contents. m) Contractor shall not remove existing soil unless otherwise directed. n) Complete restoration or replacement of damaged private and public property. o) Backfill the area and all areas below grade. Before backfilling, ensure that areas to be filled are free of standing water, materials, organic matter, trash and debris. p) Backfill must obtain 95% compaction on deep footing holes with clean fill with a minimum of 4 of topsoil. q) On any areas that are left with bare ground: reseed with 5lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. with a mix of 48% Rye, 30% Greenburg Red and 22% Kentucky Blue Grass hand thrown and protected with straw covering.
