The proposed work for Project A, designed by Great River Engineering, generally includes the following: Grading and Embankment, Concrete Bicycle Lanes, Aggregate Bicycle Lane, Street Lighting, Sidewalks, Asphaltic Pavement Widening and overlay, Aggregate Base, Curb and Gutter, Storm Sewers, Driveways, Pavement Markings, and Signage. The project is located along Main Street between Arcadia Street and Hackberry Street. Arcadia Street to Illinois Street includes construction of an aggregate bicycle lane on the north side of the roadway. Between Illinois Street to Hackberry Street, the project is along both sides of the roadway, and includes full-width asphalt overlay. The full project is approximately 1,360 feet in length. The proposed work for Project B, designed by OWN Engineering, generally includes the following: Construction of a 5 concrete sidewalk and 4 wide concrete bike lane, access connections, storm sewers, curb and gutter, street lighting, asphalt widening, milling and overlay, Pavement Markings, and Signage and any incidental work related thereto, including street improvements within the project area in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project is generally located along the south side of Main St. between Hackberry St. and Dogwood Dr. The total length of improvements is approximately 1,710 feet of sidewalk and 2,140 feet of bike lane.
