Maintenance Bridge Fender Replacement Contract 2026-1, Trenton, NJ
The work covered by this project involves survey and design engineering services as necessary to prepare the maintenance bridge fender replacement contract. The Intent of this project is the complete removal and replacement of bridge fender systems at eight structures (seven locations), statewide. Work shall consist of collecting background and prerequisite data (structural analysis, fender design, environmental restrictions, permitting, etc); site visits to properly identify fender replacement design; identify access points; design of replacement fender systems, upgrade and/or replacement of navigation lighting systems and tide clearance gauges at the seven locations; secure all necessary permits; develop plans, proposals, and specifications; develop a construction cost estimate; and create special provisions and advertisement documents (including re-advertisements).
