Description

The City of Passaic is soliciting proposals from qualified multidisciplinary Architectural and Engineering firms to provide professional services for the feasibility analysis, planning, design, permitting, bidding support, construction administration, inspection coordination, and project closeout services associated with the proposed Parker Avenue Parking Deck project located within the City of Passaic, New Jersey. The proposed project generally consists of the development of a multi-level municipal parking structure intended to address parking demand and support local economic development within the surrounding Parker Avenue / Dayton Avenue corridor. Based upon prior conceptual evaluations, the project may consist of an approximately four (4) story parking structure with an anticipated parking capacity in the range of approximately 450470 parking spaces, inclusive of associated vehicular circulation, pedestrian access, elevators, stair towers, lighting, security systems, drainage infrastructure, utility improvements, and related site improvements. A conceptual rendering prepared by DMR Architects is included in Appendix A. The selected Consultant shall provide all professional services necessary to advance the project through feasibility, conceptual design, environmental permitting, final engineering and architectural design, public bidding, and construction administration. The selected Consultant shall provide a complete multidisciplinary design team inclusive of architectural, structural, civil, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, traffic, environmental, and construction administration disciplines necessary for the full design and implementation of the project. The project shall be completed in the following phases: 1. Phase I Feasibility Study, Environmental Review, NJDEP Pre-Application & 10% Concept Design 2. Phase II Final Design, Permitting, Specifications & Public Bidding 3. Phase III Construction Administration & Inspection Coordination
