The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (District) is preparing plans and specifications for construction of planting trees, shrubs, herbaceous plugs and removal and construction of a culvert. The Finderne Farms Wetland Mitigation Site component of the project in Bridgewater, New Jersey involves the planting of approximately 6,500 trees, 11,000 shrubs and 18,000 herbaceous plugs at 17 wetland and riparian planting zones ranging in size from 0.7 to 11 acres, installation of deer fencing, goose exclusion and other anti-herbivory measures, removal and disposal of 22 linear ft of crushed 14-inch culvert, construction of a 22 linear ft 15- inch RCP Class V culvert to include concrete headwalls and concrete supportive cradle, fabrication and replacement of interpretive signage.
