The proposed Town of Canton Wastewater Treatment Plant will have a treatment capacity of approximately 4 million gallons per day. The design and construction shall ensure that expandability of the facility is possible. This project will entail design, permitting, and construction of the new facility, along with a new pump station and force main to convey wastewater to the new facility. A new effluent discharge to the Pigeon River will be required. The selected Offeror (Design-Builder) will form a team with the Town and its Owners Advisor and execute preliminary and final comprehensive agreements for design and construction at a total project cost within the approved budget amount. The Design-Builder may also: Provide survey and subsurface utility engineering services. Assist with easement acquisition for the new pump station and force main. Provide geotechnical investigations in addition to information that will be made available to the selected team, previously collected by others.

In accordance with GS 143-128.1A the TOWN OF WAYNESVILLE is soliciting proposals from a qualified solar photovoltaic (solar PV) firm/team to design AND construct a roof mount solar PV system the site address. The Firm/Team is responsible for all project permitting. Respondents shall have demonstrated experience designing, planning, scheduling, permitting and constructing complete solar, have relationships with/knowledge of local utilities, provide project financial analysis and rebate support, provide system monitoring and maintenance, and have established onsite safety standards.

The Town of Waynesville is seeking a licensed North Carolina contractor to provide all labor, materials, and services required for the installation of a roofing system to be installed over an existing membrane roof at the Recreation Center, located at 550 Vance Street, Waynesville, NC 28786. The roof is approximately 46,000 square feet in size, 26 years old, and located approximately 40 feet above ground level.

Project consists of replacing an existing 12-inch sanitary sewer aerial crossing and pipe bridge which was destroyed during the flood in Hurricane Helene. Replace with a new 12-inch DIP sanitary sewer piping secured with a new galvanized steel pipe bridge crossing Johnathan Creek along the east bound lane of Highway 276 in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Pipe bridge structural drawings, specifications and shop drawing submittal procedures are included in the drawing package. Streambank and channel stabilization work will be required for this project, and includes rock cross vanes, bolder toe, and geo-lifts.

Each acquisition shall consist of several marked steps to be approved by the local authority having jurisdiction to initiate, execute, and closeout each project. These steps may require multiple site visits by various professionals along with meetings between the Prime Contractor, State, subgrantee representative, and/or homeowner. A pre-construction conference shall take place after IFBs have been awarded to discuss the Scope of Work with the Prime Contractor(s) and Hazard Mitigation leadership. All demolition work should conclude on each project site within 60 days of settlement and shall not exceed 90 days.

Sewer and Water Construction, Sewer Re-Lining, Bridge (Replacement or Rehabilitation), Removal and Replacement of pipe, Bridges/Overpasses.

The project generally consists of the demolition of the former Town of Canton Town Hall and its appurtenances located at 58 Park Street as well as the former Town of Canton Fire Department and its appurtenances located at 21 Adams Street. They will need to be listed as separate bid amounts in the total bid and tracked separately as they are two separate FEMA projects. The Contractor shall track and provide documentation for the ultimate fate of all materials removed from each site separately. All remediation and disposal costs shall be included in the Contractor's bid.

The project generally consists of mobilization, installation of new pvc water line, installation of yard hydrant, installation of two new simplex grinder pump stations, sanitary sewer force main, connection to existing sanitary system, restoration of surfaces, and stabilization.

The Little Champion Pump Station Project includes: Replacement of an existing junction box with a new pump station located outside the 500-year floodplain, associated gravity sewer line replacement, and force main replacement and repairs. The WWTP Improvements Project includes: Demolition of the existing junction box that receives wastewater, design and construction of a new junction box and 36-inch conveyance line connecting it to the treatment plant, installation of a septage receiving station capable of metering influent and separating grease from other waste, headworks improvements, and installation of an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system protected from flooding to replace the existing chlorine contact basin located within the floodplain.

Installation of a standby generator, electric service, automatic transfer switch, pump control panel, new submersible sewage pumps, and other accessories and appurtenances as detailed in the drawings and specifications.
