RFQ Replacement of Irrigation System, Clayton, NC
Total Small Business Set-Aside, 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. Work under this contract that may disrupt the existing irrigation system shall only be performed between September 1 and March 31 due to irrigation requirements during growing season. Prior to September 1, the Contractor may perform preparatory activities such as site measurements, planning, coordination, procurement, and ordering of materials, and supplies; however, no construction, demolition, excavation, disconnecting, or other activities that interfere with the operation of the existing irrigation system shall commence before September 1. The contractor shall maintain the existing irrigation system in full operational status until the replacement or modified system has been fully installed, tested, and demonstrated to be functioning as intended. At no time shall the Contractor remove, disable, or abandon the existing system prior to successful activation and operation of the new system.
