Storm Water Services (Storm Water) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering companies (Company or Proposer) to provide professional engineering services for Ongoing and Emerging Minor Storm Drainage Improvement Projects. Work may include but is not necessarily limited to initiating new projects and/or the review and completion of an existing projects activities already in progress. Minor drainage projects are the ones defined to average in total construction cost between $50,000 to $500,000 each. The general timeline to complete a project is typically 90-365 days (including all aspects of planning, design, real estate, utility coordination, etc., excluding construction).

This project closes a sidewalk gap along Harrisburg Road by providing a continuous pedestrian connection from Breeze Way to Evans Woods Drive, including associated drainage and driveway improvements.

The following property, comprising two parcels, is being offered for commercial development proposals by the town of Huntersville for a pad-ready site near the intersection of Gilead Road and Old Statesville Road in downtown Huntersville, NC. The site is currently zoned Town Center (TC) and approved for commercial use with stormwater and parking already in place. For the purposes of this RFP, the Town is open to any concept for the redevelopment of this space, noting that a rezoning may be required depending on proposed uses of the site.

The services provided in this Scope of Work will consist of all work necessary for the removal and disposal of Trees (alive or dead) within Mecklenburg County (the County). It will include providing all necessary traffic control, labor, materials, and equipment required to complete this task. The Vendor will remove the designated trees and dispose of all debris including but not limited to trees, limbs, and brush, and grind the stumps. All stumps shall be sawn off just above ground level, unless instructed for them to be to the ground. The Vendor without additional cost to the County shall fill holes in the ground caused by the removal of trees and stumps. Trees are to be taken down within ten (10) working days of notification. NO TREES SHALL BE REMOVED FROM PRIVATE PROPERTY UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY THE COUNTY. It is the Vendors responsibility to have all utilities located prior to beginning any work and coordinate with utility companies to move them as necessary. The Vendor shall take special care during the course of this operation to avoid damage to the existing roadway surface, sidewalks and curbs. The Vendor shall avoid placing heavy equipment on sidewalks and curbs that will cause damage to these structures. Any damage caused by the Vendors operations shall be repaired at his expense. The Vendor shall also take special care to avoid damage to existing roadway shoulders, side ditches, outfalls, other watercourses and drainage structures. Any damage caused by the Vendors operation shall be repaired at his expense. Damage in this case shall include the fillings of previously open ditches, watercourses or drainage structures with soil or debris. Vendor must carry out all work according to the following specifications.

The project generally consists of parking lot drainage and pavement repairs at the Hal Marshall Center.

The city is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive pollinator garden maintenance services for pollinator habitat areas located on city-owned properties, medians, and rights-of-way. The intent of this solicitation is to establish a contract with one or more qualified contractors who possess demonstrated expertise in native plant care, pollinator habitat management, and sustainable landscape maintenance practices. The selected contractors shall maintain the health, aesthetic quality, and ecological function of existing pollinator gardens to support native pollinators including bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, and other beneficial insects.

The City of Charlotte seeks to implement systemic Vision Zero strategies to reduce risky behaviors through infrastructure improvements, with a focus on intersections and pedestrian-involved crashes. Project features included under the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Phase 1 are rectangular rapid flashing pedestrian beacon, accessible pedestrian signal upgrades, lead pedestrian interval signal upgrades, concrete curb ramps, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb & gutter, milling, concrete island, concrete pedestrian refuge and pavement markings.

Total Small Business Set-Aside, 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The 145th Airlift Wing in Charlotte, NC intends to issue an invitation for bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to construct a new 9,600sf building for security forces. This project includes construction of a new facility, site and utility works. Functional areas include offices, briefing rooms, administrative areas for training and support staff, armory, storage spaces, communications rooms, mechanical and electrical utility rooms and latrine facilities.

The city is seeking firms to provide CCTV inspection of the Citys pipeline system in accordance with current NASSCO PACP standards. Inspections shall be completed by PACP-certified professionals using NASSCO-certified software and compliant database formats. The Contractor shall provide high-quality color video inspections, defect coding, condition grading, and supporting documentation for all inspected assets. Deliverables shall include digital video files, PACP databases, inspection reports, and defect photographs. All inspection data shall be compatible with the Citys asset management and pipe video systems.

This Project consists of an undetermined number of individual projects consisting of water and/or sewer extensions, water and/or sewer replacements, low-pressure sanitary sewer, water distribution system reliability improvements projects, and/or sanitary sewer capacity assurance projects, which will be assigned by the Project Engineer.

This Project will install 270 LF of proposed 12' wide Shared-use-path, curb ramps, crosswalks across NC 49, Pedestrian concrete island and pedestrian hybrid beacons with mast arms at the intersection of University City Blvd and Mark Twain Road and University City Blvd and Suther Road.

The objective of this solicitation is to establish a convenience contract with a vendor that can successfully complete the carpet cleaning assignments as described in a timely and efficient manner to the satisfaction of the Housing & Residence Life managements expectations.

Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, , and landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Services included but not limited to the following: 1. Architectural Design Services including Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding and Award, Construction Administration and Project Close-Out. a. Related Engineering Design Services including Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection. b. Owner will engage separate consultants for IT, Security and AV design scopes. Electrical design scope to include needed pathways and terminations. Coordination with these owner consultants by the architect and his consultant team is required. c. Coordination with owners furniture vendor for workstation placement and related utilities. d. Interior room signage using the college standards will be included in project scope. 2. Project will be standard design-bid-build delivery approach. Project will be publicly advertised and bid. 3. Space to be renovated is the former Campus Bookstore, First Floor of the Hall Building, 1112 Charlottetowne Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28204. Anticipated renovated space is approximately 8,700 sqft.(not the entire available area). Renovations will include new private offices as well as open office workstations, Conference, Break and Work Rooms. See attached plan of existing conditions.

Charlotte Water is seeking a Company to clean contaminated sediment from the 36-inch outfall to the Irwin Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Work includes cleaning the main, collecting dislodged sediment, transporting it to the treatment operations on the premises of the Irwin Creek WWTP, dewatering, and safe disposal of the contaminant.

The project generally consists of construction of EV Charges at the 4th Street Parking Garage.

The scope of work includes renovation of existing tiered lecture classrooms within the existing Friday Building, located in the academic core of campus (building #35 on the campus map https://facilities.charlotte.edu/our-services/maps/printable-campus-maps/ of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Existing tiered lecture rooms will be renovated and converted into active learning classrooms for 72 students each.
