Phase 2 of this project is to include significant renovations to as many as nine separate schools and district buildings within Transylvania County. Areas of work to include site and utility improvements, faade repairs and refinishing, roof replacements, structural repairs, extensive mechanical equipment replacement and associated controls work, replacement of aging electrical panels and switchgear, and construction of new secured lobbies. Work is scheduled to be phased across the various campuses and buildings, with an overall start in October 2026, and a scheduled completion in the summer of 2028.
