The purpose of the project is to improve deficiencies and provide a smoother riding surface, therefore, decrease the cost of ongoing roadway maintenance. The improvements to the roadway are to eliminate current potholes, depressions, rutting, and other pavement failures. This project is for the resurfacing of approximately 6.87 miles of existing roadway on SR 247 & SR 547 in Clifford & Harford Township & Forest City Borough, Susquehanna County, and SR 247 in Fell Township, Lackwanna County, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The resurfacing includes asphalt wearing courses, scratch courses, milling, line painting, shoulder backup, pavement markings, and guide rail improvements. All work will be completed within the existing roadway. All maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) will be completed in accordance with the special provisions of the contract and will consist of short-term patterns.

This project is for the construction of the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Dickson City Rail Trail in Dickson City, Lackawanna County in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The project is a linear 0.406 mile multi-use trail project that runs parallel to the Pennsylvania Northeast Railroad Authority Rail Line. This trail section begins at Eagle Lane and continues north to Railroad St in Dickson City, PA. The proposed trail will have a 6 to 10-foot-wide paved cross section, limited other drainage work, installation of wooden and chain link fencing. The project will also include minor brush/branch clearing with minimal tree removal.

This project is for the replacement of an existing structure on State Route 3006, SEC 251, in Newton Township, Lackawanna County, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The project is located on SR 3006 from Segment 0050 Offset 2490 to Segment 0060 Offset 0720, with a total project length of 739 linear feet. The bridge replacement on State Route 3006 (Milwaukee Road) over Unnamed Tributary to Gardner Creek in Newton Township, Lackawanna County. The existing bridge will be replaced on the same alignment with a single span spread box beam bridge. There will be full depth approach roadway work near the structure, guiderail updates, and the MPT will consist of a detour.

This work is the 2026 Lackawanna County Pavement Markings and Legends project, located in various Municipality, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The proposed work includes the application of pavement markings and legends, and other miscellaneous construction, on multiple State Routes in various municipalities across Lackawanna County, all as indicated on the approved drawings contained in this bid package.
