This project is the replacement of the structure and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package, for SR 7421 (Fourth Street) Section FSB over Norfolk Southern Railroad in North Irwin Borough, Westmoreland County. The proposed structure will consist of a new single-span steel multi-girder bridge that will be constructed within the same approximate footprint as the existing structure.

This is a Pavement Preservation project from Sta. 433+25.00 (Seg/Off 0160/2228 NB - 0161/2198 SB - West Pine St.) to Sta. 1029+30.00 (Seg/Off 0380/1795 NB & SB - Goodview Dr.). The following work will consist of milling of asphalt courses, full depth base repair, tree trimming, signing & pavement markings, guide rail and drainage operations which will include slip lining an 84" pipe. A portion of SR 0066 will be reconstructed (full depth) from Sta. 915+30.00 to Sta. 943+50.00 NB lanes only. Another portion of SR 0066 will be reconstructed & widened from Sta. 1021+58 to Sta. 1063+85 to add a turn lane to accommodate a new traffic signal. This will include the removal of a concrete divisor and the slip ramp (SR 9104). In addition, sidewalks, ADA facilities, sidewalk lighting and landscaping will be included as part of two (2) traffic signal replacements between (SR 4026 Manor Rd) and (East & West Pittsburgh Street) and any other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for State Route 0066, Section 12M, in Delmont Borough, Municipality of Murrysville, Salem & Washington Townships in Westmoreland County.
