Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors (the County) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms to enter into a contract through competitive negotiation to provide professional services for a feasibility study to evaluate the requirements for a new courts facility (Phase I); the siting, schematic design, and preliminary engineering for a new courts facility (Phase II); and the Countys options for repurposing and renovating the existing courthouse (Phase III) for current and future non-courts system occupants.

Pittsylvania County will be accepting Bids for cell construction and related infrastructure at the Pittsylvania County Sanitary Landfill, located at 382 Rainbow Lane Dry Fork, VA 24549. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Erosion and Sedimentation Controls; Site Preparation; Unclassified Excavation, Placement of Structural Fill; Culvert Installation; Subtitle D Liner System Construction; Leachate Collection and Conveyance System Construction; Gravel Access Roads; Revegetation; and Stormwater Conveyance Channels.
