RFSQ Wastewater Treatment Plant System Improvements, Pasco, WA
Seeking qualified consulting engineering firms to provide professional services for the evaluation, design, and preparation of construction documents for improvements to the Citys Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Project elements include, but are not limited to, upgrades to the non-potable water pumping system and the anaerobic digester gas storage and gas handling systems. The selected consultant will assist the City in developing a comprehensive project to address aging infrastructure and equipment that has exceeded its useful service life. Anticipated improvements include evaluation and replacement of non-potable water system pumps, anaerobic digester cleaning, valve replacement, and upgrades to the digester gas handling system. Work will also include evaluation and replacement of the existing digester gas storage membrane (Dystor membrane or approved equal), along with associated system components to improve reliability, safety, and operational performance.

Services are anticipated to include, but are not limited to, project management, design review, construction coordination, and general engineering support. The selected Firm (Staff Member) will work under the direction of City staff and may be assigned to multiple projects or programs as needed, however, Firm willnotbe able to select or manage any projects that their Firm may be involved in whether as a Prime Consultant or Sub-Consultant. In addition, the City seeks professionals capable of providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, including Engineers-in-Training (EITs), to support staff development and capacity building.
RFSQ Road 44 Sidewalk Infill Engineering Service, Pasco, WA
The west side of Road 44 between W Argent Pl and the Road 44/Madison Ave roundabout is missing about 100 feet of sidewalk over the Franklin County Irrigation Districts (FCID) canal. The missing link currently forces pedestrian traffic into the narrow roadway to cross the irrigation canal. Road 44 is a collector street with residential neighborhoods to the north and a newly built convenience store and gas station to the south. Road 44 also serves Ben Franklin Transit (BFT) route 225, with the nearest stop at the corner of Argent Road and Road 44.
