Colorado Springs Utilities ("Utilities") on behalf of the Homestake Water Project (Homestake) is requesting proposals from qualified Respondents to provide professional engineering services in support of the selective replacement of up to six (6) discrete segments of the Homestake Discharge Pipeline (HDP). In general, these services include all design, permitting, land/easement acquisition support, and construction phase engineering required to permit, bid, and construct the selective replacement efforts.
Work to be performed includes a base bid schedule that will incorporate required items tobe completed as part of this project as well as an alternative bid schedule which willincorporate desired (but NOT guaranteed) work: Base Bid Items - Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materialsnecessary for the following items: Replacement of approximately 40 linear ft of 6-inch diameter water main withall associated casing and fittings underneath a 12-ft X 6-ft box culvert (byothers) Realignment of approximately 130 linear ft of 6-inch diameter water mainwith all associated fittings Removal and disposal of one (1) existing air vac vault and all associated items Relocation of one (1) fire hydrant assembly Adjustment of existing water structures to new proposed grade Installation of imported bedding material, asphalt removal and temporaryasphalt patching, traffic control measures, coordination for Owner inspections,and all associated permits, testing, and appurtenances. Alternative Bid Items - Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materialsnecessary for the following items: Replacement of approximately 300 linear ft of 6-inch diameter water mainwith all associated fittings Installation of approximately 30 linear ft of 6-inch diameter water main withall associated fittings Abandonment of approximately 200 linear ft of 6-inch diameter water mainwith all associated fittings Removal and disposal of one (1) 48-inch ID sanitary sewer manhole Replacement of one (1) 48-inch ID precast sanitary sewer manhole withproper pipe reconnections and all required bypass pumping equipment andmaterials to maintain uninterrupted sanitary sewer service related to thisproject Installation of imported bedding material, asphalt removal and temporaryasphalt patching, traffic control measures, coordination for Owner inspections,and all associated permits, testing, and appurtenances.

The intent of this RFP is to select a qualified contractor capable of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, quality control, and incidentals necessary to complete pavement marking work as directed by the City. El Paso County is requesting proposals from qualified, experienced, professional Consultants to furnish all services, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for professional services for the Bear Creek Maintenance Shop Remodel. The El Paso County Parks Department has identified a significant need within the Bear Creek Park Maintenance Building to expand office space and accommodate ADA requirements due to personnel changes and new full-time employee (FTE) hires. Addressing these needs is essential to supporting continued departmental growth, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality service to County residents. In addition to improving functionality and accessibility, the project will enhance the overall appearance, safety, and performance of the facility. Existing flooring surfaces present maintenance challenges and potential trip hazards; therefore, the installation of durable commercial-grade flooring and related interior finishes will provide improved longevity, ease of maintenance, and a modernized work environment.
