The Dacono Sidewalk Repair Program was created to address potential trip hazards or defective sidewalks throughout the city in an effort to prevent possible injury and maintain the integrity of the city's walkability. This program includes the inventory of all city sidewalks and the classification of necessary repairs into categories ranging from low to high severity.Please review the bid documents to find the bid tab which includes, sidewalk removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, chase drain removal and replacement, epoxy crack sealing, and grouting. The city is seeking unit pricing for the items in the bid tab and will address the most severe sidewalk defects until the budget has been met.
Trip Hazard - This category denotes the shifting or settling of a slab creating a trip hazard. Many of these repairs will be addressed by cutting/grinding out the trip hazard, some may be addressed by full slab removal and replacement.
Cracks - This category denotes substantial cracking in the sidewalk slab. Some of these may be addressed by sealing with epoxy, others grinding, and some full slab replacement.
Chunk(s) Missing - This category denotes concrete chunks missing from the sidewalk slab. These areas will be addressed by slab removal and replacement.
Curb and/or Gutter Repair - Some of these include chips missing which can be addressed by grouting. Other more severe defects will be addressed by removal and replacement.
Chase Drain Repair - These will involve the removal and replacement of concrete and a chase drain.

All necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials for the Town of Lochbuie ADA Accessible Crosswalks. The Town of Hudson in collaboration with the Hudson Public Library is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk services for a 12,000 sq ft library expansion/renovation and a new 15,000 sq ft police station to the adjacent lot to the South. This Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines the process for selecting a Design Consultant with demonstrated experience in similar projects and the capacity to deliver comprehensive design and construction administration services.
The Library expansion/renovation will include, but is not limited to, a flexible community room about double the size of their current community room, garage for 2 library vehicles, family restroom, staff breakroom, makerspace and arts & crafts rooms, and possibly a drive-up book drop. This space will allow for the growing community to have a place to gather. The library has completed a feasibility assessment indicating the need for an addition, see Exhibit 3.1.
The police station will include, but is not limited to, administrative and staff workspaces, investigative & secure operational functions, training, and public facing areas. The construction will support modern law enforcement operations as well as provide safe, welcoming areas for community members. Law enforcement operations will include controlled-access areas for evidence handling, temporary holding, and vehicle processing, as well as administrative area for command staff, training rooms, fitness areas, locker rooms, and building support services. The Town of Hudson has completed a programming assessment identifying the location of police station, see Exhibit 3.2. Proposing firms shall, at a minimum, demonstrate their understanding of the project, relevant experience, and proposed methodology for meeting the criteria noted in this RFP as well as completing the Proposal Form attached.
