The City of Norwich is soliciting bids for the General Rehabilitation of 25 Platt Avenue, Norwich, CT as more fully described in the attached.
The project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing Industrial Park water storage tank including recoating of the tanks existing exterior and interior surfaces, the installation of a new total trihalomethane (TTHM) removal system and appurtenant work. The existing Industrial Park Water Storage tank is a 0.670 MG welded steel tank approximately 72 feet in height with a diameter of approximately 40 feet located in Norwich, Connecticut. Additional work will include the replacement of the cathodic protection system components, a new combination free chlorine/pH analyzer and above-grade cabinet, a new above-grade 12-foot x 10-foot structure, a new 30 KW diesel driven standby generator and related site work. Contractors bidding for the project shall hold a current Prequalification Certificate for the Site Work or Water Treatment Plant classifications from the CT Department of Administrative Services (DAS).
The Town of Montville solicits proposals for this Waterfront Development Opportunity for residential & mixed use development on 911 Route 32 (Town Parcel) & 841 Route 32 (Private Parcel). The sires are served by public water and sewer. Proposals for one or both parcels will be considered. However, it is preferred that both parcels be utilized to ensure access to the Town site. Site access to 911 Route 32 is only possible through 841 Route 32 parcel, as primary access is not possible through the Police Department property. See attached.
Work under this item shall consist of replacing plastic water service connections with copper water service connections for all connections less than or equal to two (2) inches in diameter. Since the main purpose of this project is to replace the plastic service with copper service line the Contractor may (except for the compression fittings) use the corporation stop as well as the curb boxes, if in good conditions. No need for new taps to the water main and no need for new curb boxes are expected. However, a unit cost has been included in the price table just for the event they are needed due to their condition or if there is leaking. The cost for Trench excavation, pavement removal and backfill, sidewalk removal and backfill, pipe bedding, traffic control, leakage tight testing, trench paving, sidewalk replacement, protection of trees and shrubs and other appurtenant work will not be measured for payment, as it is to be included in the price for the copper pipe.
The City of Norwich, Office of Community Development solicits bids under its Rehabilitation Project consisting of roofing the main house (all shingled surfaces, and all porch overhangs/outcroppings) at 177 Baltic Road, Norwich, CT. The C side rolled roof portion was recently done- a new ridge cap will be required to connect the newly shingled portion of the roof to the existing rolled roof on the C side of the property. See attached.
The Purchasing Agent, City of Norwich, on behalf of Norwich Public Utilities, will accept proposals for the repainting of NPU's 55,000 gallon LNG (liquefied natural gas) storage tank located at 10-12 Wisconsin Avenue, Norwich, CT. Included in the work is the proper removal and disposal of lead and PCBs. This project may be subject to CT prevailing wages. See attached.
The project includes the design, procurement, installation, configuration, and support of an enterprise-grade Fire Station Alerting System. The proposer shall provide clear, labeled diagrams illustrating the overall system architecture and integration of the proposed fire station alerting solution. At a minimum, diagrams must depict network connectivity between system components (including on-premises, station-based, and any cloud-hosted elements) and clearly show integration points with the Citys CAD system (PremierOne or equivalent) and relevant radio system components (e.g., dispatch consoles, logging recorders, control stations, or gateways). Diagrams should identify major components, data flow, and communication methods (e.g., API, IP, audio paths), and must be sufficiently detailed to allow the City to understand how the system interfaces with existing infrastructure.
The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of a partial roof replacement of an existing building. The Work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following major elements: 1. Removal of existing membrane roofing, insulation, cant strips and tapered edges, and metal flashings. 2. Removal and replacement of existing masonry veneer where necessary to accommodate flashing. 3. Removal and replacement of existing metal guardrail and ladders, roof hatch, and other roof accessories. 4. Removal and replacement of deteriorated roof decking and wood blocking. 5. Removal and replacement of existing unit skylights. 6. Removal and replacement of existing roof drains and related piping and insulation. 7. Provision and installation of TPO membrane, underlayment, and flat and tapered insulations. 8. Provision and installation of new flashings, caps, fasciae, and other trim metal work as detailed and specified, including new collection boxes, downspouts, and scuppers. 9. Offsite disposal of all removed materials.
