Industrial Park Water Storage Tank TTHM Removal System & Appurtenances, Norwich, CT

The project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing Industrial Park water storage tank including recoating of the tanks existing exterior and interior surfaces, the installation of a new total trihalomethane (TTHM) removal system and appurtenant work. The existing Industrial Park Water Storage tank is a 0.670 MG welded steel tank approximately 72 feet in height with a diameter of approximately 40 feet located in Norwich, Connecticut. Additional work will include the replacement of the cathodic protection system components, a new combination free chlorine/pH analyzer and above-grade cabinet, a new above-grade 12-foot x 10-foot structure, a new 30 KW diesel driven standby generator and related site work. Contractors bidding for the project shall hold a current Prequalification Certificate for the Site Work or Water Treatment Plant classifications from the CT Department of Administrative Services (DAS).

Replacement of Existing Plastic Water Services with New Copper Water Services FY 26 Paving Program District 2 Roads, Waterford, CT

Work under this item shall consist of replacing plastic water service connections with copper water service connections for all connections less than or equal to two (2) inches in diameter. Since the main purpose of this project is to replace the plastic service with copper service line the Contractor may (except for the compression fittings) use the corporation stop as well as the curb boxes, if in good conditions. No need for new taps to the water main and no need for new curb boxes are expected. However, a unit cost has been included in the price table just for the event they are needed due to their condition or if there is leaking. The cost for Trench excavation, pavement removal and backfill, sidewalk removal and backfill, pipe bedding, traffic control, leakage tight testing, trench paving, sidewalk replacement, protection of trees and shrubs and other appurtenant work will not be measured for payment, as it is to be included in the price for the copper pipe.

The project includes the design, procurement, installation, configuration, and support of an enterprise-grade Fire Station Alerting System. The proposer shall provide clear, labeled diagrams illustrating the overall system architecture and integration of the proposed fire station alerting solution. At a minimum, diagrams must depict network connectivity between system components (including on-premises, station-based, and any cloud-hosted elements) and clearly show integration points with the Citys CAD system (PremierOne or equivalent) and relevant radio system components (e.g., dispatch consoles, logging recorders, control stations, or gateways). Diagrams should identify major components, data flow, and communication methods (e.g., API, IP, audio paths), and must be sufficiently detailed to allow the City to understand how the system interfaces with existing infrastructure.
