Palm Beach County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide hydrogeologic engineering services for wellfields, production and disposal wells, located at Palm Beach County Water Utilities Dept facilities and other county and non-county facilities.
The purpose of this solicitation to secure pricing and establish a term contract with an experienced Contractor to provide, install, test, and repair overhead doors and fire shutters.
Scope of Work: A. Irrigation systems shall be constructed using sprinklers, valves, piping, fittings, controllers, wiring, etc. of sizes and types as shown on the drawings and as called for in these specifications. The system shall be constructed to grades and conform to areas and locations as shown on the drawings. Sprinkler lines, valves, piping, wiring, etc. are essentially diagrammatic. Minor adjustments in location to suit field conditions are anticipated. Major relocations shall have prior approval of the Department. Unless otherwise specified or indicated on the drawings, construction of the irrigation system shall include furnishing, installing and testing of all mains, laterals and fittings, furnishing and installing of sprinkler heads, gate valves, control valves, controllers, and control wires, etc.; all necessary specialties and accessories such as backflow preventers, pump stations, excavation and backfill, and all other Work in accordance with the plans and specifications as required for a complete system. B. The Contractor shall obtain all permits and pay required fees to any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the Work. Inspections required by local ordinances shall be arranged as required. Upon completion of the Work, satisfactory evidence that all Work has been installed in accordance with the ordinances and code requirements shall be furnished to the Department. C. While working on medians or on the roadside, proper traffic control shall be used to protect workers and the public. Traffic control operations for installation and for future maintenance shall be in accordance with the Palm Beach County Streetscape Standards Manual, dated October 29, 2003, and as stated in the Maintenance of Traffic Section in these Contract Documents. All Work shall be done in accordance with all local and state codes and standards. All above ground apparatus and structures that are installed shall be kept a minimum of 6' from the adjacent travel lane.
CONTRACTOR shall provide ground crews to treat invasive and nuisance vegetation in COUNTY owned and managed lands, parks and right of ways. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for providing crews, equipment, herbicide and supplies for treating aquatic, wetland and terrestrial vegetation using ground application methods. CONTRACTOR shall provide services to COUNTY Departments including, but not limited to, Environmental Resources Management, Engineering & Public Works and Parks & Recreation. CONTRACTOR shall provide services at Zone 1, Zone 2, or Zones 1 and 2. (COUNTY to adjust based on award of the contract(s).
The Work consists of providing and laying sod, and/or watering, and/or applying hydro-seeding in areas specified by the District. Bids will be submitted for an annual Districtwide Contract, with up to four (4) additional one-year renewal options based on the Districts fiscal year (October 1-September 30). The work covered by this Request for Quote consists of the furnishing of all labor, equipment, devices, tools, materials, transportation, professional services, supervision, drawings, permitting, and all miscellaneous requirements to perform all operations necessary to accomplish the work set forth below and shall be considered part of the Scope of Work. b. Please reference the Annual Contract Minor Construction Services for additional requirements. c. Work to be completed during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. d. Contractor shall contact the Project Manager within seventy-two (72) hours of notice to proceed to establish scheduling, etc. required for project implementation. e. Work to be completed within one hundred twenty (180) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The building permit package has been submitted to Palm Beach County Building Division and will require a contractor change when finalized. The contractor is responsible for the change-of-contractor fees as well as any additional sub-permits required for this project. Palm Beach County will pay the main building permit fees. f. Liquidated damages will accrue in the amount of $180 per day. g. The Contractor will provide a Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Completion, as appropriate, obtained from the proper Building official, prior to processing of finall payment. h. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit formal written Proposals from experienced and qualified individuals, corporations, partnerships and other legal entities (PROPOSER) to provide the processing equipment, operations, and maintenance and marketing and sale of recovered ferrous and non-ferrous metals, for the Advanced Metals Recovery Processing System (AMRPS), located at the Solid Waste Authority's (Authority) North County Landfill, located at 6330 N Jog Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33412.\n\nThe AUTHORITY desires to enter into a new Site License Agreement (SLA) for all activities associated with the supply, operation, and maintenance of the AMRPS for an initial term of three (3) years. A draft of the SLA is included in this RFP as Attachment A. The selected PROPOSER will begin to participate in transition planning and transition activities from current to new operations (as applicable) on or before September 23, 2026, and will operate and maintain the AMRPS per the terms and conditions included in the SLA
The Project consists of constructing process efficiency and control improvements at the Water Treatment Plant including: instrumentation and control upgrades; SCADA upgrade; installation of water quality monitoring equipment; new high service pumps; variable frequency drives, control panels and local controls for new and existing equipment; construction of a new electrical room within the Reverse Osmosis Building; miscellaneous electrical, instrumentation, miscellaneous metals, painting, concrete, and HVAC work; electrical duct banks, site work and additional upgrades as shown on the project design drawings and as specified herein.

The construction services consist generally of but are not limited to, installation of potable water mains, installation of 2 sanitary sewer manholes, installation of 824 linear feet of gravity main, installation of 27 sanitary sewer laterals, fire protection improvement, and replacement of water service lines with associated appurtenances and site restoration of affected areas within Golfview Heights and along Ohio Street. The purpose of this solicitation is to secure pricing and establish a term contract with an experienced Contractor to provide the fabrication of trailer center beams and other fabrication services for the Solid Waste Authority on an as-needed basis and according to the specifications provided. This solicitation is open to Certified Small Business Enterprises (SBE) only.
The project consists of furnishing and installing a new pre-engineered metal canopy structure over existing asphalt as shown on plans provided. This also includes the installation of foundation and repair of surrounding asphalt and landscape.
