The work to be performed under this contract shall include HMA surface removal and overlay, pavement patching, maintenance of traffic, pavement marking, landscaping, ADA curb ramps, APS improvements, curb and gutter removal and replacement, median removal and replacement, guardrail removal and replacement, impact attenuator installation, bridge pier crash wall repairs, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown in the plans and described herein. Location: This project is located on W. Peterson Road from west of IL 137 to US 45 in the Village of Libertyville in Lake County. The gross and net length of improvement is 0.712 miles (3,760.1 feet).

The scope of work for this improvement includes a new 5x3 culvert under US 41 with associated pavement removal and patching, and ditch grading along US 41. Work includes pavement removal and patching, temporary concrete barriers, curb and gutter, barrier median, landscaping and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and described herein. Location: The work on this project is located in the Village of Lake Bluff and Shields Township in Lake County. The project includes a new culvert and grading at US 41 approximately 600 feet north of the Wisconsin Central Limited (WCL) Bridge over US 41, grading along the west side of US 41 north of the WCL bridge, and along the east ditch of US 41 500 feet south of the WCL Bridge. The Gross length of the project is 1,477 feet (0.280 mile) and net length is 630 feet (0.119 miles).

This crack and joint sealing improvement consists of routing, cleaning, and sealing of longitudinal cracks in existing HMA (Hot-Mix Asphalt) pavement and between the existing HMA pavement and curb and gutter, restriping with Modified Urethane pavement marking lines, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the work shown on the plans as described herein. Location: This project begins on the centerline of IL 132 (Grand Avenue), approximately 20-feet east of the intersection at IL 59 and extends east along IL 132 (Grand Avenue) to a point 25-feet west of the intersection at Cleveland Avenue. The project is located within the Village of Lake Villa and unincorporated Lake Villa Township in Lake County.

The project scope will include utility relocations, maintenance of traffic, streetscaping and lighting improvement and all related project issues within the logical termini of the project. Services will include preparation of plans, specifications and estimates, securing the necessary permits from regulatory agencies, and any other activities needed to have the project ready for an IDOT letting. No Right of Way acquisition is anticipated for the project. Temporary easement will be required for construction access.

It will be the responsibility of the successful fabricator to provide support foundations, posts, base, and/or cabinet of sufficient structural strength, anchored to the sign and into the ground at a depth and/or in a manner that is sufficient to prevent them from being damaged by wind gusts, affected by local freeze/thaw cycles or removed by vandals.

Lead Service Line Replacement Project (Phase II) for the City of Highland Park, IL.

Works include approx. 100 CY Top of Slab Surface Repairs (Section 03 01 30Concrete Surface Repair); 2,000 LF Crack Repairs (Section 03 64 00Crack Repairs); 11,000 CY Unsuitable Foundation Material for Structures.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary to perform comprehensive landscape maintenance services. Turf shall be maintained at a height of 2.0 to 2.5 inches and mowed once per week during the growing season (April through September). The anticipated frequency is 2426 mowing cycles per season, subject to adjustment based on weather conditions with approval from the Contract Manager. Prior to mowing, the Contractor shall remove all litter and debris. Upon completion, all grass clippings and debris shall be removed from hard surfaces, landscaped areas, and structures, leaving all areas clean and free of residue. All edges along sidewalks, curbs, and landscape beds shall be mechanically edged to maintain a clean, defined vertical edge.

Southern interceptor manhole rehabilitation phase 3 consists of sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation of 15 manholes on the gravity sewer. This includes approx., 185 vertical feet of manhole rehabilitation.

The project site is located at 200 E. Cook Avenue in Libertyville, Illinois, at the intersection of Cook Avenue and First Street. The site is currently occupied by the Schertz Building, which houses the Libertyville Police Department along with other municipal functions. The planned project involves the demolition of the existing Schertz Building and the construction of a new, purpose-built Libertyville Police Station on the same site. The new facility will be an approximately 50,000 square feet three-level building. Site work includes demolition, site preparation, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and coordinated utility relocation work related to underground service conversion. The work also includes grading, retaining walls, paving, sidewalks, and other site elements.

The Work described in these specifications shall consist of the surveying of the entirety of the Villages water distribution system to identify leaks and provide a comprehensive final report to the Village. 1. LEAK DETECTION The Contractor shall complete surveys covering the entirety of the Villages water distribution system (approximately 94 miles). The Contractor shall survey all fire hydrants, accessible mainline valves and, if necessary, select service connections shall be surveyed by physical contact. If any fire hydrants or mainline valves are found to be inaccessible due to required repairs or maintenance, the Contractor shall notify the Village of their location. The Contractor shall utilize the following designated listening distances, with two points no more than 500 feet apart for metallic pipes, no more than 300 feet apart for Non-Metallic AC/Concrete pipes, and no more than 150 feet apart for Non-Metallic PVC/HDPE pipes. The Contractor shall, during the surveying process, log suspected leaks as found during the Work. The Contractor shall conduct secondary confirmations on all suspected leak locations, a minimum of four hours following the initial logging of the suspected leak. The Contractor shall be required to investigate every suspected leak location, regardless of size or scale of suspected leak. During the survey process, the Contractor shall maintain a log of suspected leak locations. This log shall be provided to designated Village staff at the end of each workday. The Contractor shall also provide daily reports to designated Village staff, providing an update on the previous workday and informing the Village of proposed survey plans for the current workday.

The contractor shall be responsible for sandblasting and painting selected hydrants. The public agency will make every effort to identify hydrants for painting that are nearby one another, however the public agency may require a hydrant outside of the identified area be sandblasted and painted. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to measure, inspect and verify the project areas.
